A day by the pool.

A day by the pool. - 06/24/2017 05:05 PM

One of my favorite places on earth is the pool at Beachside Villas. Now, I realize that a place which is 50 feet from an active runway where jumbo jets land and take off doesn't seem like it should be a place of peace, but this is, for me.

The pool is often deserted, except for me, so I can read to my content undisturbed under the gazebo.

There are new tables and chairs on the pool deck this time (although the chaise lounges are the same)

I usually face the passing parade of boats or stare at the water when I'm not reading.

I do occasionally watch the planes too, of which there is a nice variety.

As I said, one of my favorite places on earth...

I only see empty chairs. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> I enjoy that quiet space too and love spending time there. You are more photogenic than you think as I have seen a few good pictures of you.We need proof that you are really there! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

Ah, Eric stays here when I go to the pool. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Smile.gif" alt="" /> Eric says that he is here with a strange woman, and he's not complaining!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

Love it! Enjoy the rest of your vacation and thanks for the reports and pictures. So many days I yearn to be there.

We too love spending the later part of the day at the pool when we stay onsite. It's a great place to relax and meet up with our friends who are there when we are.

Beautiful...

I would love some umbrellas between the lounge chairs; then I would spend more time there. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Umbrella.gif" alt="" />
It is still a perfect spot!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Umbrella.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I don't know why they don't have any umbrellas. I always sit under the gazebo.

Yo Dave,

You are volunteering, right? We will definitely need one.

Judy likes her Guavaberry coladas & Mudslides, but I'm easy - just diet Coke w/lime.
