Speaking of JetBlue............. - 06/26/2017 03:21 PM

So we were fortunate/unfortunate enough to be on flight 788 back to JFK yesterday. Guess when it came in they shredded a tire and it damaged a wing. Six hours later we finally took off (issue was sitting 2 hours waiting on the plane for the paperwork to be filed!). Lots of drama on the flight during those two hours, I would have handled it differently and shown much more authority. But there is just no respect for people anymore. Arrived at JFK, T5 TSA closes at 11:00 and we had to go to T4. Then had to wait 30 minutes for ground crew to open the door!!! I HATE T4 CUSTOMS!! Thousands of people in customs! Thank goodness for mobile passport only a 10 minute wait. And because of the previous door issue luggage was already off the belts! So that was good. Made it back to CT and in bed by 2:45!!! Already received 250 per ticket compensation from JB. Without even questioning. Just wish people would
Show more respect to the crew and captain!!!

Familiar with your route. We book the same flights from JFK because of the direct flights. We spend the night at our son's with grandchildren in Newtown, limo it to JFK and back for the flights. Saves a bunch over the alternative direct for us which would be through Boston with a hotel, parking costs, a meal and having to drive home at midnight.
Would hate to have to fight T4 even though Dot wheelchairs it.

Who do you use for limo? Always looking for a less stressful alternative than driving down and parking!
