Any Jet fuel at.princess juliana - 09/18/2017 02:58 PM

I've noticed alot big planes landing at pjia are only hopping to San Juan or aruba after their sxm stop. Figured fuel may be an issue in addition to getting people to safe place quick.

But the Jordanian 787 flew in from madrid, loaded.up and took off back for madrid.

I know the 787 is fuel efficient, but i figure it needs a drop or two to make a Roundtrip Atlantic crossing?

Anybody know if they have old it new jet fuel pre or post storm.

Maybe they only had so much and king paid a kings ransom to get it?

Gee, I'm thinking if anyone has the bucks to pay for jet fuel, regardless of the price, it would be a Jordanian king?

The flight range on a fully fueled 787 is 9,196 miles. Distance from madrid to SXM is 3,833 miles. So they would have no issue with not refueling in SXM. Both FBOs at PJIA are showing prices for JetA, so it might be available.
