Club O options for this year

Club O options for this year - 10/04/2017 01:36 AM

We have been going to Club O for as long as I can remember and are looking for alternatives this year. Have never been to Jamaica. The web site for Grand Lido Negril looks great, small resort, clothing optional, restaurant options. Looking for any and all feedback from people who are familiar with the resort and the area. Is Grand Lido part of a larger resort - like Hidden Beach? Are there multiple resorts lined up along the beach? Is there privacy from neighbouring resorts? What's the food like? At Club O you can be au natural 24/7 - is this the same? Anything else would be great. Thanks

I would look at TripAdvisor for the new Grand Lido Negril which is nothing like the former Grand Lido Resort. We have not been there but the new au natural Grand Lido is just 1 building of a much larger resort (Royalton Negril and Hideaway at Negril). It's also nothing like Club O or Hidden Beach as they don't even have a clothing optional beach or dining.

The location is at the end of Rutland Point with a view toward Booby Cay. You can use the beaches at the Hideaway and the Royalton which require bathing suits. There are also several other large resorts along the beach of Bloody Bay but you do have privacy from them.

Wait, I think there is a c/o (or mandatory nude?) beach at Grand Lido??

According to the reviews, there is currently no nude or c/o beach at the Grand Lido, but I think they have plans to build one somehow. The c/o beach from the former Grand Lido is now one of the beaches for the Hideaway section.

When you say reviews - do you mean reviews you've read on Trip Advisor or where?
