Update from Beachside Villas - 11/17/2017 10:31 PM

Received the following update from Tracy today regarding BSV.

"Yes, we are thrilled to see things coming together so quickly. We only have two villas completed with furnishings, as we were still waiting on shingles which arrived today! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> So things will go much quicker now with the roofs repaired. We will have Villas 8-14 completed for Jan 2018 rentals. Villas 7-1 will be soon after. We just need to see how quickly we can get new furnishings sent down. Every thing we ship takes 10 days to arrive to the property after it arrives in Miami. So it can take two weeks to even receive items. We are fully booked this April, so I would say by mid March we should be at full capacity, but will keep you posted.

The office and Marvlyn's apartment were destroyed. We are rebuilding it from the ground up as we speak. We did want to make some changes anyway so its not all bad. I have before pictures I will post when I have the after pics too. It was pretty awful to see.

Our guests have been so uplifting and supportive. We are so thankful for that. This has been a 24/7 project and will continue to be. Our main goal is to bring back Beachside and all its beauty for all of you!"

As I told Tracy, I have cried many times since Irma hit. But I think I cried the hardest when I saw the first pictures that showed that BSV had survived. If you've ever stayed there, I think you understand..
