For those of you who go back a long way, you will likely remember Jerry behind the bar at Ric's Place. Sadly, Kathy Hetzel (former co-owner of Ric's Place) reported she had learned that Jerry passed away. He we a fixture behind the bar at the 3 former locations of Ric's Place and was always a pleasure to talk to. RIP Jerry.

Big time Cubs fan. We have always remembered the year that he was thrilled to go to Chicago and see a game. We miss the whole Ric's scene.

Sorry to learn of this.
We were at Ric's place escaping a downpour one time...and the news came on that John Denver had crashed his plane and died.
Funny how time, place, sounds, smells, people...are associated with memory and historic events.
