Thank You a bunch! Love it! Visit there every year since early 90’s. I even remember Neil Rooney who leased the area for a while. Thanks again.

Re: Sunset Bar & Grill Cam - 09/11/2018 05:32 PM

I see they added a stage in between the cafe and beach. Don't see the point in that.

I noticed that also and was surprised two nights ago when they had live music playing past 10pm EST. I also noticed that they have a sign up on that stage saying "Refuge". I wonder if they lost their evening club that they had over at Algeria?

Re: Sunset Bar & Grill Cam - 09/12/2018 03:10 PM

No seaweed today, so either it washed out to sea or they cleaned it up. Lots of people on the beach today. As I recall, there's a ship who wasn't supposed to be there today, due to a schedule change due to Isaac.

That is just amazing considering how much was there yesterday.

The Sunset Beach cam is not working properly. It says it is motion activated, but planes landing do not show up. You can see planes coming in, and landing, on the Maho Beach cam, but they do not activate the Sunset beach cam.

Yes it is. You have to click on the arrow to open it. Lots of people on beach and taxis moving along. Just saw a small plane land too.

Maybe my internet is too slow for that cam. Images are still, but if I refresh it, there is a different image; no live streaming though. The Maho beach cam streams fine, but my internet is Centurylink, and it "sucks". Must be the problem. Thanks!

Got to be the problem as it works great for me.

It is working. Looks like Sunset is closed today and no one is at the beach...

Re: Sunset Bar & Grill Cam - 09/12/2018 07:46 PM

No Sunset is not closed today. There were plenty of people there earlier. Just seems that the cruise ship folks have left.

Cruise ships are gone.

Re: Sunset Bar & Grill Cam - 09/12/2018 10:00 PM

Camera is working fine here. Probably as you said, your internet connection does not have enough throughput to allow for real-time viewing.

There were plenty of people there earlier today.

Yep. Without the cruise ships there usually aren't that many people there. Once some of the other timeshares get opened and high season kicks in that will change.

Re: Sunset Bar & Grill Cam - 09/13/2018 03:33 PM

Looks ok to me. Where is Isaac?
Schools closed etc.
Why?
Posted By: bdeeley

Re: Sunset Bar & Grill Cam - 09/13/2018 03:50 PM

Isaac is in the Atlantic.

Schools are closed in response to possible had weather from Isaac.

Re: Sunset Bar & Grill Cam - 09/13/2018 04:00 PM

I'm referring to zoom feature not full screen.

Kind regards.

Re: Sunset Bar & Grill Cam - 09/13/2018 04:01 PM

Tropical storm watch is in effect. Isaac is south of St Maarten but precautions have to be taken.
