atrium new management

the atrium has new management. LaTour Hotels is the company that has taken over. is anyone familiar with this co? I have heard that their were changes in staff.
our family will be vacationing at the atrium for the new year, as we have been for doing for 22yrs. would like to get a heads up. thanks.

Where did you get this information? The timeshare owners there have not been advised of any management change yet. Festiva has been good to send out information over the years.

scuttlebutt was that Joan May was no longer was hotel mgr. reason being that new mgmt. had taken over. new mgmt.(LaTour Hotels).
if you access the LaTour website,they list The Atrium as one of their management properties in the carib. they also include a dept. that will handle maint. remittance. &. special assessments for their properties(or words to that effect). check it out.

I have no idea if this is accurate or not but many times "scuttlebutt" coming from the island or pertaining to the island has been proven to not be accurate.

Owners received an email months ago updating us on the condition of the Atrium under the heading of La Tour and yes, Joan May is no longer the general manager. This is not scuttlebutt but the truth.

I did not receive that e-mail, but in checking things out, I noticed that la Tour and Festiva have exactly the same mailing address which seems very strange. They are presently both claiming they are management companies for the Atrium Resort. Will be there soon to check things out.

That could get dicey, if two different companies are trying to collect the AMF's...

They may be the same owners or at least related in some way.
