Here is my list please reply with your input

One flight to St Bart’s never did it we sometimes stay in Anguilla for a few days but thought one day of 11 would be goood to see that island???? Thoughts

Kakao, Bikini, and Kon Tiki are open on Orient, as well as Perch Lite. I don't think any of the smaller spots have reopened yet.

In Simpson Bay, don't miss The Palms and Lal's.

El Zafiro has yoga on the beach.

If you have never eaten at Mark's Place, I would suggest it.

So many wonderful places across the island but I have to agree with ruralcarrier with regard to Marks Place. On our November trip I had what I think were the best mussels I’ve ever had. They were incredibly good and the pot broth was out of this world and all at a very reasonable price, too.

With regard to your specific questions, yes, Mario’s is very good and add to that, I would highly recommend LeMoulinFou in Maho area for a very good dinner. Our favorite beach eats are Rosie’s for her dry rub ribs but if we want to step it up a bit we go to Friars Bay Beach Cafe and if we really want to step it up we go to Anse Marcel Beach Restaurant though we haven’t been back since they reopened.

If you haven’t seen St. Bart’s at least once it’s worth the effort but bring lots of money. Personally speaking, I prefer Saba because it’s so different from what we think of in a Caribbean Island.

They offer yoga on the beach at El Zafiro but I have no specific details. This is a nice beach to spend a day and they offer free chairs with lunch and drink service on the beach.

So little time and so many great places at which to dine and experience.

Since you're staying at Green Key, you can do yoga classes on Orient Beach.

Back in late October we went to Sol e Luna for lunch, it was fantastic. We tried to plan on going there again for dinner, but ran out of time. Hopefully, this coming March/April. As Pat said, I would add Mario's and LeMoulinFou to your list. 2 of our favorites. Unfortunately, Moulin Fou was closed for vacation when we were there. We really missed not going there last trip.

"El Zafiro has yoga on the beach". It ts at the far end (towards the airport terminal) of Simpson Bay Beach.

Before Irma we always had lunch at Kakao on Orient Beach and it was always great. It's back, but I'm not sure what their menu is like now. Rainbow Cafe on Grand Case is also quite good, but sometimes service can be a bit slow. And, on one 'rare' occasion we had a waiter that only spoke French which was really strange.

St. Barth's is worth a one time visit I suppose, but try not to look at the prices. Even the taxi fares are borderline ridiculous. If you go for the day, rent a car but try to limit your driving to the daylight hours. The roads get very hilly, narrow and I won't drive here after dark. The beaches on St. Barth's are really awesome, but we haven't been here since the hurricane so I can't comment on their present status. St. Jean beach (Nikki Beach) is worth a visit, but be sure to bring your own umbrella and towels. No shade and no such rentals available there. Shell Beach and Anse Grand Saline are also very interesting. Hope this helps.

I have the menu for Kakao. Will send it to Carol by email. My photos are not great, even though I did them in the bar area but sun still shone in. She can decide if they are good enough. Lovely job they did on the restaurant. We were there as our friend sky dove out of an airplane & landed in their sand on the beach.
Fantastic video of that.

That's really cool! We prefer to arrive by taxi or rental car. The guy who sort of ran Kakao in the past was a frenchman that I got to know named 'Kel' (or Kal). Once you got to know him he was a pretty good guy. Do you know if he's back and running the show there at the new Kakao? Also, the new location is different, I believe. Of course I'll find out in about six weeks or so.

I will find out I do know he's a Frenchman that came to watch the Tulsa Oklahoma lady sky dive to beach. They are other way from bikini than before.
