Palapa Grill in Simpson Bay started stopped using one time containers yesterday.

Well, yeah, but how many other things are not being addressed, like the AIRPORT, like timeshare legislation, etc, etc., etc...

Biodegradable items will work fine as long as they're composted. Otherwise, if tossed out in a plastic trash bag, they just become another piece of trash.

I am a firm believer in bringing your own insulated cup. Particularly in our unit we rent, I use that to make drinks or fill with water and ice. I have had some success using it out and about. I see a few people doing that, not too many.

Has anything changed on island as of yet? Is water still sold in plastic bottles? I always bring my own shopping bags and travel cup but places still serve drinks in plastic cups which I then pour into my cup. They won't mix drink right into my cup and that still leaves the plastic to be thrown away.
