Great 10 piece band playing African drum rhythms. Next to the Mexican bar. Couldn’t park anywhere so just doubled parked outside the casino and had the best view. Anyone there or know who they were and where they play?

They are very talented kids and you can find them playing at many cultural events on the island.

Generation New Status STM is a local drum band based in St. Maarten. The band was founded by Urmain "Youmay" Dormoy in late 2008. At present there are 70 members all between the ages of 4 and 16 years of age. This youth initiative is geared towards cultivating drum band skills among the youth of St. Maarten.
