Thanks for posting this. It's by far the best cruise port in our opinion by a wide margin. Yet, some cruise lines never stop here (i.e., Holland America) as I recall. Would love to see some cruise lines reinstall the St. Maarten 'overnight' port-of-call. Ship arrives in the morning, you have all day and night to do as you please, the ship becomes your hotel for that evening, but does not leave port until 6 or so the following day (which gives visitors a full second day to explore). But, until people stop booking cruises to totally boring places (i.e., Amber Cove, D.R.) this probably won't happen any time soon.

That would be the ideal cruise itinerary! Most of the eastern Caribbean 7 day cruises leave the US port and stop at 3 locations. I'd gladly give up the stop at their "private" island for an overnight stay at Sint Maarten.

Bermuda would be great if you could move it. Long way to cruise for a single 1-2 days top. The Brita should move it closer to Anguilla.

St Croix, how does that beat St Thomas?

St Thomas has beautiful vistas but we always go to St John.

SXM is #1 for us and hard to rationalize outside top 3.

This is such great news for St. Martin. They're back!!!! Can't wait to dine on the beach at the newly opened La Playa restaurant!
