Interesting how these bad guys almost ALL are on scooters..

Yep, and this scam has been around for years.

We always buy a can of “Fix a Flat” when we rent a car just in case we have a flat tire a distance from where we are staying. Never used it but helps us relax knowing we can get the car going in a few minutes.

Makes for a faster get away weaving through any other traffic.

I guess so. It means though that police should always do enhanced controls on scooters.

Concealed Carry Permits would alleviate most of these issues.

No, they wouldn't, especially since it's illegal to have a gun at all.

not to turn this political but I think 2fingers is saying that guns should be legal and permits could be issued if they were for protection to responsible people. I have one but don't always carry at home.

Please, island politics is discussed here all the time. I'm sorry, but I think 2 dead robbers (or two held at gunpoint for the cops) is a much better read then a robbed, badly beaten women. Just me.
