Sign reads "for cash only". Wonder what they charge otherwise.

So I guess if we want to save about 6% on our groceries, we should bring US dollars?

For the life of me, can't ever find this place. So, going over the causeway and turn left at the roundabout(I think) to Marigot and then where?

bran--not sure why it's a problem for you. Haven't you been coming to SXM for a long time? If so, it's where Match used to be. Go to the causeway, turn left at the roundabout toward Marigot. Stay on the main road through Marigot, go past the stadium and JUST past the McDonalds on the right is Howell Center . The McDonalds is relatively new, but Match was there for years and years.

Just not an area I visited, went through or ever stopped at, until last year. Don't even know what Match is or was or where the stadium is. Probably do, but brain doesn't or perhaps never did function correctly. Think I only noticed McDonalds for the first time last December. Because of Sandy Ground being cut off, started to use that area more or rather was forced to. What I do know is that it appears to be a great area for people who need eye-wear as there are numerous stores catering for this. Need to get out more I suppose, but last few trips. Villa, pool, french restaurants, villa, bed..repeat and a few trips to the dutch side, made more so by the riots. Thx anyway. Oooh, forgot to mention. Booked one week in Anguilla and then one week in SXM end April. Originally said I would have to lay off for a while, didn't last long did it. Got the blues within 2 weeks of coming back..

Also, to those that have had a problem with service in Sol e Pepe. Was our first time on the way to the Airport last December. Don't much care for Italian food but wanted to see what the fuss was all about and to see the big boats. Very nice restaurant. Agree, there were people flying all over the place and difficult to get someone to take an order of drinks. Sussed the place out first and in the end, simply went to the bar, ordered the drinks, paid for them and took them ourselves outside where there was very nice comfortable seating right opposite the Yachts and then found an even better place around the corner to see all the boating activity. Peaceful, no noise, enchanting. Going to try and post some pics now. The colorful blue lady, they have all over the place..liked the look of her.

Nice place and good food. The Owner Chef Davide is our personal friend way back at Maho in the 90.
