One can always find the negative if one looks for that. I prefer to see the positive.

We were among the first travelers back after the hurricane. We went beginning of December that year. We will be booking as soon as we can to get back after this too. Actually, we left the island right before the shutdown. We were there for regatta. Seems like 10 years ago, but we are ready to book for the summer.

I agree GaKaye, we are hoping for the best. Booked 2 weeks in SXM, plus a third in Anguilla, and hoping for the best, in February. Also have November and December trips booked to other warm locations, that i am hoping not to cancel!

If it is for SXM, sadly, I would not expect it to happen but I may be wrong.

We are scheduled to fly to St. Maarten in exactly one month. I'm not optimistic
