AA bans face shield on flight attendants

Horrible story. I would not care if i saw my flight attendent with a bit of extra protection. Would think she is trying to protect me. Shame on the airlines for trying to ban this.

I plan on flying with a shield from Amazon next flight.

Talked to a nurse friend yesterday -- she said those shields are really hard to wear for a shirft. Required for her, but takes it off for any 5 minute break she can muster.

My wife much prefers the shield over any kind of face mask and she is in one for a couple of hours at a time.

Some good examples of COVID travel wear. Im thinking a full face snorkel mask with n95 filter material over the snorkel vent.
