Health protocol for travel to the French side - 06/08/2020 01:26 PM

Daily Herald story

Sounds pretty strict.

Hotels are not happy

Daily Herald seems to think no flights even from Holland until August

I'll wait and see what the official statement is between now and June 15th on the opening of PJIA and requirements for tourists arrivals.

That's all we can do, at this point, but I was surprised at that inference from the DH. The French side definitely seems to be proceeding a lot more slowly than what one might think.

It’s confusing unless you’re following the changes closely and see the entire picture, and perhaps even if you are. The Daily Herald is a few day’s late on some of this.

The original story gives the requirements (test, 7-day quarantine, 2nd test) for travelers from France to the French islands.

The most recent story lifts the travel restrictions between the French islands. Previously, self-certification that you were traveling for one of a specific list of reasons was required. That restriction is no longer in effect between the islands, but remains in effect for travel from France until June 22.
