American mask policy

American mask policy - 07/24/2020 02:43 PM

This is great. All airlines should do away with this medical exception unless there is a certified document from a doctor.
"Earlier this week, American Airlines enacted its strongest policy yet. The airline now requires all passengers over the age of 2 to wear face masks and will no longer be making medical exceptions while the pandemic continues."

There are no medical exceptions. That's a made up story by people that don't want to wear the mask.
Saw video of Dr. putting on 6 masks while wearing a pulseox monitor. Needle never moved.
It was no bearing on COPD, Asthma etc. All made up.
Oxygen cells are so much smaller, they fly right through the material.
The mask is to stop much larger organisms, such as cough sputum etc.

Give it time, the Americans with Disabilities Act will be all over this.

For people to get an accommodation under ADA, that accommodation can not put others at risk. That is why the ADA would not cover an accommodation for someone to be exempt from a mask requirement.

They already are "all over it":

Sadly, it is s system ripe for abuse. Look at the abuse of handicap parking placards, service dogs, etc. We see it ALL the time when we travel with our dogs. I have seen a lot of FAKE "service dogs" and they do put others at risk, I have personally witnessed it.

A couple of lawsuits and things could easily change.
