120 or 72 hours? - 02/05/2021 02:23 PM

I thought someone posted that this changed again from 72 back to 120 yet I cannot find it. Any help? Is this true

See the other thread about this, but apparently it is 120 hours for Americans and Canadians.

And this is exactly why SXM has to get their ‘stuff’ together. All this confusion is totally unnecessary and very disconcerting to the average traveler. No wonder why so many, even long time annual visitors, are cancelling their trips, and at a time the island so desperately needs their support.

1000% correct, Pat. This is NOT rocket science, SXM!! Just make a decision, stick to it, and get your freaking websites correct, so that the same information is displayed everywhere!

But the official EHAS site has conflicting information. I believe it's 120, but as Carol says, get it together and post correct information everywhere! I've commented to that effect on the Government's Facebook page, so perhaps someone there will see it and get things coordinated.

On their picture chart there is an asterisk behind the 72 hour window that clarifies it for 120 hours for US and Canada.

If you open this official site and click third update down it takes you to the new 120 hour exception for US and Canadian travelers.

You got it pat. TOTAL INEPTNESS on how this is being done and pretty much how it has been handled since visitors have been (welcomed?) back. But wait, it will likely change again based up on how things have gone in the past. Different and conflicting information and requirements and multiple places and sites, including the OFFICIAL site. One would think a blundering fool might be in charge, especially of the sites.
