Wow.............Over 106 vessels have been identified. It's also awesome that they are recycling everything.

Can't wait to see the finished project when we arrive in February, 2022.

Glad to see them doing the clean-up, as well as recycling it as much as possible! We look forward to seeing the results when we return in January 2022 after being away for two years. Hopefully some of the debris on the French side will also be dealt with.

On a related note, there were remnants of an old steel and/or concrete "pier" (or maybe barge) in Simpson Bay, or at least that's the best way I can describe it. It was about a metre wide and maybe 40 metres long. It was about 300 metres offshore and maybe 250 metres west of the lagoon entrance. We used to stay in the La Siesta Condos on Simpson Bay Beach and could see it from our terrace.

I saw some recent drone footage that went along Simpson Bay Beach from the lagoon entrance to about as far as the Las Arenas Condos, and back. The pier doesn't appear to be there now, although it might just be the drone footage did not pan far enough out into the bay. According to what someone once told me, I believe it was damaged and abandoned after a previous hurricane (maybe Luis?). Does anyone know anything about it and if it's been removed? Just curious.

Thanks.
