Does anyone know what this plant is? My wife took the photo near the beach on Orient Bay.
I've seen that before. Grows in a lot of different parts of the world. We have it here in WA State too. It's also edible.
Looks like awfully scrawny purselane to me.
It's called Shoreline purslane, also known as Sea purslane & Shoreline sea-purslane. It's found on coastlines around the world, produces tiny pink flowers.
