Starting December this year???? As in, one month from now? Wow. It's a good thing for the island, but I wonder about congestion at the airport. I guess the ship is going to sail on Saturday???

Oh goody! Airtransat changed our january flight from Saturday to Sunday to avoid the congestion from the other cruise ship that was porting there this year. We land around noon & leave around 1:30. Just maybe we'll be ok!! If we are on time which they usually are. Direct flight 41/2 hours. Fingers crossed but if we wait then we wait. Very happy to just get there.

Scott--thanks for the info. Moderately better than Saturday anyway, because there are less timeshare folks on Sunday. Maybe a lot of folks will fly down on Friday or Saturday before and give the island some much needed income.

Great....my weeks at SBR start on the second Sunday in January. I would be more concerned about the departure day though.
