Lunch At Mary Boons

Lunch At Mary Boons - 03/23/2022 10:18 PM

We had lunch on the beach at Mary Boons and weather and the view couldn't be better. I had a cheese burger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasty. But my wife had a thia curry shrimp and rice plate that she raved about. Said it was the best meal she has had since we got here, but we've only been here 4 days so that opinion could change. I think we are off to Lee's for dinner tonight. We're close enough to Lee's to walk to but its that walk back up the hill that is tough but with all the food I've been eating it's probably a good thing.

One the way back cut through the Simpson Bay Resort to avoid the hill.

We love the food and great service at Mary's Boon and hearing and reading more and more great things. I like the Tuna Steak or the Thia Curry Chicken or sometimes they have a great jerk chicken with rice. The Shrimp Tempura is good and they even have a vegan burger if you ask. Fair prices and great beach front dining and pretty property. They have a few great chefs now and We really look forward to eating there. Hope to be back in May.

Scubaman Figured that one out last time we stayed here. Straight though the garage and out the people door at Peli's store. Real big difference.

You try Juliettes yet? Other than the traffic driving by the food and music is good.

That's OK unless you stay in the last building above the casino. It's a killer !

Agree with the SBR Villas cut through and if you stay in the upper B building , like we do, the walk by the where the D/C buildings were on the left is a more gradual rise....or take the shuttle from SBR check in

We haven't yet but it is on the list. They seem to be busy at all 3 meal times so something good must be going on. Today we are going to venture into P'Burg as there are just 2 ships in so the stores will be open and hopefully not to crowded on the streets. Haven't travelled in 2 years and need new T-shirts and hoodies for the CDN winters.

We stayed at the Boone many times only ate there a few times. Granted that was a long time ago. Food was good. But my God, talk about island time service! So slow, I get it, things are a little slow, but that was beyond my patience. Lovely staff. We like that others are hearing really good things, wife( fabila) has been talking about walking down for lunch. I just don't want to finish just in time for dinner!! LOL!!!

Colour1 The service when we were there was great. We sat down and ordered a couple of cocktails (of course) and looked at the menu for a few minutes and then ordered.
Before we finished our first drinks our food was served. Can't beat that.
