OK, not sure why the first one didn't work. Will correct the post. Corrected link works for me anyway.

Sounds like we absolutely need to put Pinel on our must-do list at the end of this month…the future is always unknown!

Will be in SXM the first week of June and we always make a trip over to Pinel, I hope they are still open when we get there and that they get something figured out to stay open. It is a great day at the beach with great food and drinks.

Something about this smells bad, real bad!!! Say, someone wasn't getting there monthly "fig"???? Places that have been doing business on Pinel for years, now they want them off the island???? Owners doing more than required to be in compliance are getting railroaded!! These people have worked so hard to recover from Irma and now they are getting kicked in the teeth! It's just wrong!

Correct. Not the first time Yellow Beach has had the Gov come after them.

Scuba, as I said, something isn't right about this. That was no different than the controversy surrounding the original Bikini beach!! Back rent? Back taxes?? who knows. Someone isn't telling the truth!

Supposed to be there through like June 20, I think. Hopefully they can work something out before then.

Any updates? We arrive at SXM on June 17. We usually take a trip over during our stay.

I assume you're going there Scubaman? If so, would be interested to hear what you find out, if anything.

Yes. We plan on going but not till next week or week after. I'm so layed back after our first week i can't even think about what we'll do the next three. Only thing for sure is this Tuesday we are doing the Eagle Tour and Wednesday having a dinner party at our place for some local guests. Prior owners of Fig and friend and Marco and his wife from Isola. A night I'll post after in a separate thread as not to hijack this one.
