Any news from 'home'??

Pretty darn quiet around here the past couple of days!! It makes waiting all the more difficult!!

From all the Facebook posts, there seems to be a lot of calm water.

We know how fast that changes.

Did hear much needed rain today.

Wish I could help Carol but as you know we returned to our home last Wednesday. I brought back with me some great memories.....and covid. Tested negative last Tuesday, flew home Wednesday and started having symptoms late Friday. I assumed it was a bad cold so didn't test until Sunday morning. Yep.....came up positive. Am glad I got home O.K. but have no idea how, where or when I came in contact with it. Good news is I think I'm over the worst of it.

How about I'm just veging by the Flamingo pool.👍

CaribLee--glad you made it home OK. Hope you continue to recover. We made a quick trip to Indiana a couple of weeks ago. I wore my mask in the airport, but not on the plane. I figure to wear it in the airport on the way down to SXM also.

Terry--I wish we could get some d*mn rain here. We are really dry here.

Scuba--Somehow I thought you were coming home today, as you were asking what time that drill was planned at PJIA.

No. Some people here wanted to know. We will be on the 2:38 flight to MIA then to SEA Friday. Getting in 11:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. Going to be a long day.

I am now back in the North. Funny thing today the temperature here is warmer then in Sint Maarten. Everyone is saying that we brought it with us.

Lucky you! When I return on July 6-7, I have to overnight. Decided to do it in DFW as I love that Grand Hyatt.

I just can't trust the weather in Dallas for connections. Been stranded their before.

I'm more concerned about possible flight cancellation than I am the weather. CHI is the one I wouldn't go through.

So happy for you, Linda. I can’t imagine five weeks on island although I’d love to try it at least once. Wishing you a wonderful trip filled with all the things you love. Looking forward to and hoping for weekly details of your stay if you’re of a mind to. You do those write-ups so beautifully….….😊😊

Thank you, Pat. I did just post about La Villa Hibiscus, which I visited last November. Hopefully that will make up for some of my slothfulness.
