You mean "planning" timeline, don't you? "Planing" made me think they were changing all the arrival and departure times.

Ridiculous. 2024, 7 years post Irma.

Sadly, not a surprise and they keep the same people running the show.

DAILY HERALD UPDATE

Pretty critical of local management, and probably well-deserved.

The really sad part of this is that the alleged reason for the delay has been known since 2017!

Correct, that is what I just posted. Probably not enough "palm greasing" between then and now.

And to cover any cost overruns, it would not surprise me to see an additional airport tax/fee added to each and every airline ticket to and or from the island.

I don't like Emmanuel in general, but looks like he is right, for once.

We all knew what Scubaman was saying really no need for that, the thing that stands out is another 6 months projected delay who is kidding who . The company was supposed to be fully vented for reconstruction, delay upon delay now this the full airport reconstruction will more likely take until 2027 I’m sure more problems will surface . What a SHAME that this is going on, according to the article it’s the outside paint that is the problem why not start now why wait . I know that this Airport handles many more passengers than the old one that it replaced but it was more friendly and a fun place and went through many more Hurricanes with little interruptions . The questions should be Who is filling they pockets ?
