Nothing at Flamingo/ Simpson Bay Resort beach. Saw it all slipping past us going towards BSV. I'm sure Lavista got a good amount.

Unfortunately, here's the view when we arrived at Mary's Boon. They said it arrived in force today.

Just saw an ad / announcement that Mary's Boon on Simpson Bay Beach were bringing the big raking machine

I feel for you Ihbsurf, we had the same issue in Mar/Apr on Simpson Bay. But like I say when travelling "You always need a Plan B". For you that might mean moving beach time to Mullet for the next couple of days. The winds are forecasted to be out of the SE through Tuesday afternoon which doesn't bode well for the south side of the island. Hopefully the forecast will change, but you're still in paradise.

We enjoy going to beaches all over the island, so it doesn't put much of a damper on our trip. Honestly, it's not as bad as the Red Tides we experienced in Florida earlier this year. There wasn't much at Cupecoy when we stopped for a rum punch, surprisingly. And if it was bad at Mullet, you couldn't tell, the parking lot and road were packed as usual for a Sunday. It does smell some, but either it's better than when we first arrived, or we have just gotten used to it already lol!!!

Is Orient likely to be good?

Take a look at Maho today. Looks like someone stole the beach

Mullet was perfection today.... so glad we tried there first.... still tons of seaweed in Simpson Bay!

Still nothing at Flamingo or Simpson Bay Resort.
