day 5- time to charter the boat. - 02/25/2024 06:50 PM
As our kids have grown up, we're always looking for more to explore. So we started chartering a private boat a few years ago.
This was our 3rd daytrip with Captain Alan in Oyster Pond. the only PITA for us is waking up early to get fro Mayo to OysterPond before rush hour really kicks in.
But was our 1st time to Anguilla....
Today our captain was Alan's son and 1st mate was his other son. I love family run businesses!
These fine young gentlemen took us to
Rendezvous Bay,
Malliouhana,
Prickly Pear,
Sandy Island
& Scrub island.
Lots of private coves & beaches to explore. The only place with boats was Sandy island and there were only 3 boats there . The teens encountered a border collie who wanted to get in on the game of catch. Also I joined the teens in jumping off a rock into the ocean. 9-5 on the boat.
