Just got back from a long-delayed trip to Italy, which included Rome, Tuscany (with cooking school), Portovenere (Cinque Terre) and Bologna. Travel mishaps ensued. I've blogged about it here:

Thanks so much for the report and the fabulous pictures! For anyone following along, make sure you click on the pictures to enlarge them! We have not been to Italy. I hope to be able to go someday, but I kind of doubt I will, as the walking would do me in.
Can't say I blame your friends at ALL for travelling separate from you to arrive. You all are essentially cursed, when it comes to travel!
