Flying in to BGI Sun Afternoon-best option to STV? - 11/05/2012 04:41 AM
We fly into BGI on American Sunday afternoon around 2:30pm. We intend on staying on St Vincent that night. I see that we have two flights at 4pm on SVG Air or the ferry at 4:30pm.
Anyone have an opinion on the best way? Oh yeah, we have 6 people in our party if that makes any difference.
Thanks,
Rich

SVG Air for sure.
We had a great round-trip with them this past June. We did end up on a bit of an island hopper on the way down (BGI, Bequia, Chatham, Union, then St. Vincent), but it was a great way to see all of the anchorages from the sky, and close enough to get good pictures!
Pretty much the same on the way back - St. Vincent to Chatham to Union to Bequia to BGI. But it was still not a bad flight.
They were on time, efficient, and pleasant, and didn't lose any of our luggage...
I've never taken the ferry, not sure I would want to go that far in one on open seas...

Turns out their website isn't even up to date. They did reply via email though. 16:30 appears to be the flight time. Prices aren't exactly right either, but either way appears to be the best way to go for us.

We also had a very good experience with them last July with a party of 5. Would not hesitate to recommend them! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

we bought the last 6 tickets on SVG at the 16:30 timeslot. Interesting that their webpage isn't all that up to date with times and prices. Goes with the territory I guess.
