Superstar Storie, JD and Ronalee McKnight's dock diving dog (ruralcarrier here) will appear in a dock diving demonstration and competition on Fox and Friends this Saturday. The show is on from 6 AM to 10 AM on FOX NEWS channel. They don't really know when they will be showing the competition during that time period.

Good luck guys!!!

We have been told the tentative times for the dogs will be approx. 7:50, 8:30 and 9:50, Not idea what segment Storie may be in and remember, this is live TV and everything is subject to change.

Thanks.

Sorry I didn’t see this last night.........

So! I hauled my sorry butt out of bed at 5:59 this morning and turned on the tv in the living room to ‘watch’ Storie. (Had to get up because I knew if I stayed in bed I’d roll over and go right back to Sleep!)

I never saw you guys - I saw little dogs and dogs that looked like maybe they were off the street? I did see one black lab but she was wearing a turquoisy-greenish swim shirt and not hot pink! (I missed that intro because I was getting coffee.....) was that Storie? And if not, the only other dock divers I saw were Pete Hegseth and one of the other program hosts. And I stayed right through the end of the show.......

Bummed on all counts but I tried.☹️☹️

John even watched the last hour with me but I think he was hoping the gal in the red dress would dive in, too.......

Pat--ALL the dogs were wearing the same suits. I did not see Storie jump at ALL, although I did see lots of dogs jump that didn't know what they were doing!! mad Milt talked about Storie, but I never did see her jump. I saw JD a couple of times at the side, but never saw Storie. I did not really care for how they treated it, like it was all just fun, and not a really serious competitive event, but that was the way that Milt portrayed it, from what I saw..

I agree - i did hear them mention Storie as a multiple time champ being there but I never saw her dive and in honesty, I don’t think the promoter did the sport any favors with his comments. Missed JD and Ronalee completely.

Not sure if Storie made TV or not, sounds like she did not. We are at the mercy of the show, time constraints and people not paying attention. Storie was one of six dogs to have a suit and I think the only Black Lab with a suit

Pete Hegseth did throw multiple times for Storie and even had a catch! Good time overall.

Thanks for tuning in. Going into NYC at 4:15am is a breeze.

Going back in tonight for dinner.

Glad you had a good time. That's the most important thing at this point, as you were the ones who had to made the trip.

Sorry, which one? What channel? Purina events are NEVER televised live regardless.

Re: Watch superstar Storie this Saturday! - 07/29/2018 06:06 PM

What was televised yesterday was the taped version of the 2018 National Championship for the Incredible Dog Challenge. It was filmed back in June in CA and Storie was not there. They changed the format, eliminated Regional Championships and events and invited a bunch of the same breed, Belgian Malinois.

We could have attempted to walk on, and probably made the field, but I was not willing to drive from OH to CA for ZERO $$. The winning jump would not have finished even 4th last year so it was a weak field to say the least

Storie has competed in 9 total PPIDC events, 5 regionals and 4 National Championships. She has never finished lower than 4th, won a regional in two events and finished 2nd last year in the National Championship. I guess being the wrong breed kept her out as her resume was worthy of an invite IMHO.

Thank you.

Wow, what a crock! Why did they do away with the regionals??? Money?? And to not invite Storie? Ridiculous..

Pretty sure $$ had a lot to do with it. You have seen the production they do so cutting it from 3 events to 1 would save a ton of $$ Eukanuba has cut back their support of NADD/AKC dock diving and we saw noticable changes with Purina the past few years.
