It seems that there is a lack of activity on this board. It used to be that any topic would result in a timely response. It now seems that a weekly check for responses would suffice. Am I wrong? Are there less nudists?

Hi jar867. I check it daily to see if there are any replies to old threads, or if there are any new ones. Activity is pretty low here, but occasionally there is a topic that generates some conversation. I don't think there is a lack of interest in nudity, nor a dwindling number of nudists. Lots of activity (posts) in the St.Maarten-St.Martin section is nudity related.

P.S. I tried to post this last night, but it looked like the website crashed, and I was getting an "error" page when I tried to post my reply.

I don't have any idea what the numbers are, world wide, as far as nudists, versus, say 20 years ago. However, it SEEMS to me that there are less than there used to be. How many nude resorts have you personally known of that have closed in the past 20 years? I could be all wet, but I do wonder whether some people are more loathe now to go to a nude resort/beach/etc because of the pervasive ability of people with bad motives to be able to take nude pictures of them? Many people worry about it, from a professional or business standpoint.

Exactly, Carol. My wife and I go to St Martin annually because there we are completely anonymous. Even if someone took our picture they would have no idea who we are or where we are from. We enjoy taking that vacation by ourselves and the freedom to be nude in an anonymous setting. My wife would have never tried nudity the first time had it not been for the fact that no one could have identified her. Now she is hooked and our St Martin trip is the highlight of our year.
