South America -Nudist Living

South America -Nudist Living - 11/18/2018 08:28 PM

Off the beaten path with this question.

As we enter winter we were just asking ourselves how could we have long summer days year round without going to Australia 12 time zones away?

Are there any places in South America who have places like nudist campgrounds in the U.S.?

Looking for basically a safe, inexpensive campground to have a camper....... we know there is poverty and crime in Brazil and Argentina but does anything escape all that in the countryside?

Changes in latitude.
Day - night changes are most extreme at the poles and least noticeable at the equator. So actually you would find what you are looking for in Central America and the tropics. No need to go as far as Australia. (Invert latitude values for Southern Hemisphere times.)

Thanks, I’m going to try and figure this chart later after more caffeine. I do know Sxm has relatively short days so I don’t want to be on the equator for long days, right?

But for free I would stay in Sxm.

Not exactly.

The closer to the equator the less the dark/light cycle varies. Closer to the poles (north AND south) will result in MORE seasonal variation.

Right, doesnt vary much. But equator and SXM dont get the longest summers.

I want daylight until 930pm year round.

Where in south America is a nudist campground i can migrate to for the North American Winter?

If ound some websites in spanish that google translates RV into rolling house.

Anybody been to these places?

looks interesting - campo nudista. Although there are only 3 people in all the pictures. Hopefully they get customers/visitors to the property.

They get snow in “winter”.

Looking forward to your report on people, facilities, accomodations, etc.

We want real daylight savings time by heading south.

Yatan Rumi was really really nice. It's quite back to basics but a lot back to nature.
Our complete report will be published on Naked Wanderings by the end of the month.

Great, looking forward to it. Also, info on what city to fly into and getting to there and so forth would be helpful.

Brazil is also really worth a look at. Beautiful weather, beautiful resorts with lots of open spaces and a lot more comfort than in Yatan Rumi.
