BVI and other passages video clip

BVI and other passages video clip - 01/25/2015 07:13 PM

I put together some of the video footage taken while sailing on "Zanshin" and this has excerpts from sailing the BVI and the passage towards St. Martin. 8-10 knots boat speed in typical trades... that's what sailing is all about!

Only 13 more days and I'm back in the BVI! Can you tell that I've got DIF?

Great video and I like your selections in music. Be there in 12 days.

My first attempt at the video had a really cool soundtrack from the 80's in there, but when I submitted it to YouTube I got a copyright notice so I had to see about getting music that wasn't restricted. I used to see a band called "Sky Dog" do shows in various bars around the Antibes area when I lived there and used a bootleg recording from one of their gigs on the video <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />

I use vimeo for video hosting since youtube is very copyright restrictive, even for fair use. I understand the DIF. I just walked my dog in the snow and I was thinking about sunrise in the VI. Time to sort photos and book air for March.

The snow has melted here, but DIF remains in force. Concentrating at work is difficult and I have this constant Reggae drumming beat in my ears. My Warsteiner beer yesterday even tasted faintly of Presidente...

Enjoy the Warsteiner while you can get it. We have Schneider Weisse Original and Aventinus on De Life, but I haven't found a decent Pils in the VI. I'm always tempted to bring down some growlers of Mad Fox Keller Pils.

Amazing boat. I enjoyed the Annapolis Boat Show video. Talk about a live-aboard vessel... wow.

That Annapolis Boat Show video was a good one; in fact I was in Germany waiting to head out to Annapolis to pick up the boat after the show when I first saw it. It was my first glimpse of the finished vessel.
