If you moored in Leverick Bay, could you take the dingy to the Bitter End, Prickly Pear, Saba Rock...

Yes, should be no problem...

Absolutely yes as long as the weather isn't really funky. A group of us TTOLrs did this in May and had a BLAST!!!!

we've never gotten wet, maybe we're not doing it right!!

we take the dink and do a big loop as a pub crawl and hit biras, fat virgin, sand box, saba and BEYC, new for us this year will be CSYC, lots of fun! At least i think we had fun...

We got very wet....but that is because other folks who shall remain nameless killed us with water cannons (LOL.....hhmmm...maybe we were guilty of that as well....I got my good buddy "Mike" wet and angry at Saba) <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

I am sensing a repeat performance....we'll just need to be more careful on arrivals at Saba.... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Possible but uncomfortable, potentially hazardous after sundown. I would just use the iron genoa and move from Leverick to BEYC or Saba and back if desired.

The chop in the North Sound can be surprisingly high, but a big Caribe dinghy and outboard will certainly be sufficient. But as mentioned in this thread, I'd be careful after dark and make sure that the dinghy is well-lit.

(....and enough gas)

We started out going clockwise - at around 11:30am - Prickly Pear, Saba, BEYC, Lunch at Fat Virgin, back to Leverick - I think we all got back around 3 or so. It is NOT something I would do after dark.

I make a habit of having a handheld VHF with me in the dinghy. I would be especially inclined to do this when taking a relatively long ride (like Leverick to BEYC), and even more so if I were going to (foolishly?) ignore some of the advice here and do it at night.
