And the next question is: how well stocked is it?

I was there about a week and a half ago. Sad to say it was looking a little sad ... stock wise.

Safer to consider it only as an emergency "maybe"

If you are willing to walk in there with the "want what they have" mindset, you can usually get by. If you go in thinking "have what I want", you'll normally be very disappointed.

I agree with HillsideView. Gotta have the attitude of get what you can find.

With that said I was pretty impressed last week with how stocked it was for such a small place. They were out of milk when we walked in but it was delivered while we were there.

Later that afternoon we went to grab bread that we had forgotten earlier and they were out and said to come back after 10 the next morning. We did and there was plenty.

Surprisingly, in season, Rose at Columbus Sunset Bar has a decent selection of basic items. Stocks beer, liquor, transmission fluid, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies,3 ton floor jacks and a whole lot of other stuff. "If Rose ain't got it, you didn't need it". If you don't see it,ask, she'll know where it is.

There is a really nice little Market on the Beach at CGB, limited selection but they had Ginger Beer when Bobbby's did not. It also has 2 cute studios up top, all new construction and very nice.

Good to know they are open. We are staying at Lighthouse Feb 13-20th and need just the basics and of course beer and wine for the condo. Where is Columbus Sunset? Will check that out as well. Hope to see some TTOl folks at Myetts happy hour with Capeye. With a little luck this Sunday I will have my Patriots Super Bowl champs shirt on

Columbus is up past the cemetery on the left. You can walk the road or the beach. If you walk the beach, you'll see the path where the cement block wall ends, just go up that.
