Very nice Desdamona! My youngest just accepted her offer to attend UT @ Austin next year so I need to make her one of these. My other 2 are @ Virginia Tech ("Go Hokies" Beerman), but we're psyched to join the UT family ... "Hook'em"!

I made the Texas shaped one during our first week sailing. Gorilla glue and a rocking boat! It was quite messy, but I'm happy with the end result. And since they hung it up high, you don't see my mess-ups! We stayed at Ivan's four nights after our charter. It's just too hard to go straight home after having that much fun! I'm still in the withdrawal phase.

I have said it before and I will say it again.
Reentry from the BVI is so hard.

SO SO TRUE.....I go on vacations....family visits and business trips and always when I get home I say "ah...feels good to be back in my own bed"....NOT WHEN I COME home from the BVI.....I want to feel the rock of the boat....the people I meet and know there and on and on and on.....I truly am an addict!! And this year is going to be horrible because I may have to skip 2015 for reasons I won't bore anyone with ....but this is NOT setting well with my DIF!!!

We had some friends meet us in St. Thomas after we turned the boat in and they went back to JVD with us for the 4 days. They had never been to the Caribbean before. OMG-they are ready to move down there. I feel bad that we have probably ruined any other vacations for them, because none are as good as this! We even had Vinny [Corsair's] take us back to St. Thomas on his private boat the day we left. Painkillers for breakfast that day. It was a total blast.

"Other vacations"? No comprende. My first visit to the virgins was in 2004 and every year's vacation since has been back to the virgins. Whether it be sea based, land based, island hopping or combo platter. This is where I spend my vacations. I take other trips throughout the year, but not vacations.

You have done them a favor, no need to determine where this years vacation is gonna be. Makes life a lot easier.
