No kidding....I was ready to jump overboard and swim after Galeaux when they bailed <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

Becalmed is putting it nicely <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> But, we did have a good first race.

It was still fun....but they really need to rethink Thatch....<img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

Be great to get even more TTOLers to join the fun this year...with this much advanced notice, its time to think about joining in!!

It was grand to meet so many of the TTOLers! We are looking at dates for our fall trip and it looks like we are coming down mid November till Thanksgiving instead. Just the way the Husband's schedule works out. *kicks sand*err snow*

One lesson learned last year..have more beer onboard..if we hadnt been running out we might have tried to stay in the race although we were going backwards and sideways!

We will likely be living in Florida by then so we might be able to get down there pretty easily - no concrete plans yet.

we have a running joke now that an event day/evening of boating requires no less than 96 beers (for 6-8 people, random boat guests who show up etc)....we have never run out but we get close!

You make a VALID point, Bruce -- or just do one race on the second race course and eliminate the first.

You can add: leave enough water to brush your teeth the morning of, drop anchor chain, dingy, dive tanks, don't fill up on diesel for 3 Charters prior....did I forget anything? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

The best was the morning of the race when Brian and I were getting ready to leave and I walk into the little kitchen of our villa and Brian is loading up a little cooler. I just looked and him and laughed and he said "What?" and I just laughed and said "you don't really think you're bringing that today, do you?"
