Guana or Camanoe Islands

Looking for some opinions on these anchorages for a possible over night stay. We are heading down in a few weeks for our 3rd trip and we want to explore some different bays this time around.

We know that these islands are private and respecting the high water mark is common sense in my opinion. We also know that there are no bars/food/services etc... Just looking at a quieter place to spend the night. From what I have read is that there a few moorings at Guana that can be used, but if not, anchoring is ok with us. Reminds me of Savannah Bay from what i have researched, just not as big.

How is the snorkeling? Anchor holding? Which do you prefer if any for an over night stop? Any and all info is appreciated.

Guana has mooring bouys. There is some snorkeling there, but not brilliant IMHO. The bay is exposed to normal BVI winds and not somewhere we would choose to stay overnight. In gentle conditions it could be beautiful.
(As you talk about Savannah Bay, presumably you are on a cat? Not really advisable to go there on a mono and, I believe red lined by some companies). A cat would be more comfortable at Guana than a mono.
Lee Bay, Camanoe has anchoring space for about three boats only. Quiet and good if you can set the anchor well. Snorkeling here is good, though I must admit not snorkelled there for a few years now.

Thanks for the input. Yes, we are on a Lagoon 45, a few of our crew would not have as much fun on a mono. In our other trips, TMM has not red lined anything for us.

If you stay on a ball at Guana there is nothing there if solitude is what you're looking for that's it.
