Not sure the exact benefits, but assume you can check all the way through. Maybe someone will know if you can now use FF miles to Tortola.

If it's a code share FF miles should work. The Seaborne flight will have a Delta flight number also.

Now if only there was a direct non-stop flight from the west coast (LAX) to SJU....

Delta had one many years ago on the L1011. American had one until the big pullout of SJU. Perhaps something will come back.

Just checked flight from Atlanta. Unfortunately listed at $1700 for most.
Hopefully these have not been adjusted to reflect future reasonable flight costs, otherwise the added route will not help (Similar connecting in SJU with Cape Air Commuter will be about $800.

What dates were you looking at. I checked for our late Nov trip and the dares ranged from 616 to 930 round trip.

I was checking for my December trip . 613-930 sound much better.... hope its true
