Soggy Dollar Webcam - 10/07/2016 07:51 PM

I was checking the webcam today for the Soggy Dollar and received the message "Your connection is not secure". I have never seen this before. I was using Firefox. Has anyone else experienced this?

That is new as of today or yesterday. Since I didn't want to chance it on my CPU, i pulled it up on my phone and it looks like they have a new website.

Looking at their cert it looks like they recently added in a stats engine (server2.web-stat.com) that is not running via n SSL certificate on HTTPS. No security concern here unless you're submitting confidential data to their site. smile

I'm not having any issue connecting to it, but looks like they are rolling out something new - "SDTV" (assume that's Soggy Dollar TV). They show a countdown clock for it to be live on the 11th of October and the caption says "a whole new view of white bay coming soon".

Looks like it might have been a little rough in White Bay this morning. Good example of why it's a poor choice for overnighting unless you KNOW the weather will be perfect...
