Slips - 12/16/2016 08:43 PM
Doing some trip planning, can anyone tell me if the marinas typically meter electricity for overnight slips (thinking A/C usage). Thanks.

yes but Nanny Cay and Leverick charge a flat rate. If you stay in a slip you will need A/C especially Nanny Cay

Thanks everyone for the info. My thought is to split the time between mooring balls and slips since the boat size I'm looking at only has shore A/C. When I was younger I could get by without the A/C but now it has become a necessity. Plan to spend a couple of days at Leverick, nice set up

Leverick has a great setup, fantastic place and people. Have Nick get you a rental car and tour the island
Sure wish I was pulling into a slip at Leverick right now to escape this deep freeze...-35 last night with wind chill....brrrrr..
But I choose to live here ....on these days the question is always why ?
Agreed the slip and all that goes with it is awesome there ...miss you all

Sorry to hear Ward needs surgery. How all goes well and we can meet up again soon
I am sure we will be down in May Frank... Torn rotator cuff.. 6 weeks in a sling and 6 months of physio ... Climbing up the side of moving ships on rope ladders takes its toll after 30 years
