Bubbly Pool?

I was last there in 2007. It was great then but now I see it's listed on Trip Advisor! Is it worth the trip or is it too well known by now?

Somebody said there are signs pointing the way. When we were there the first time for us in 2006, we missed a turn somewhere that continued through the woods and ended up taking the coastline trail up over the rocks and down into the pool from the ocean side. Spectacular views but pretty steep. Now I'm afraid we would find food trucks parked there! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

We were just there two weeks ago. Follow the dirt road then stay next to the water and you will find the trail. Everyone really enjoyed it while we were there. A group was leaving as we were getting there so we had it all to ourselves besides two other people. I love Diamond Cay as well. We had a great time snorkeling the area and saw a couple rays. We went over to the B-Line Beach Bar and the vibe was really fun there. Played a nice game of corn hole as well.

Heh, heh...the first time we went we were mooring at Diamond Key and went into Foxy's Taboo to ask direction's and they called the dog over and said "take them to the pool" and darned if the pet dog didn't look at us, wag his tail, and start off along the beach, up and over the trail, and led us right to the pool. No one else was there, and after we got in the pool with bubbles all over us, the dog went back home. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> This is a true story, and several year's later we found out that our sweet four legged friend has left us for doggy heaven. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Sad.gif" alt="" />

Bubbly Pool.....be careful real careful swimming in the Bubbly Pool. The surging water sucks back under the boulders near the entrance and can trap you and you will drown....its happened a number of times. As well a few weeks ago a young man was sitting on the cliff and the rock he was sitting on gave way and it fell on top of him and killed him.....three deaths there in recent years

I'm so silly. Wanted to go there for several trips but I never knew there was a Foxies and there was Foxies Taboo. I've searched the coast trying to figure out how you got from Foxies to where I guessed the bubbly pool was. After too many years I finally figured out where it really is and how to get there. We haven't been there yet but next time I think it's going to happen! Don't follow me to Anagada, I think I know what I'm doing but you never know if the guy in front of you knows where he is or not!

Went there 2 weeks ago, loved it. there was another group there but it is far from a Disney crowd. They left and my wife and i had it alone for a bit before we left. Be smart and you will likely survive your visit.

Bring bug stuff, you may need it... better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

The trail was fairly easy to follow and marked OK, once you knew what to look for, faded blue spray-painted arrows. the trail was a bit of a challenge for my wife but she made it fine, just be careful and pay attention to your footing. Watch out on the trail for the clearly marked Manchineel trees which are somewhat toxic.

It's definitely worth the visit. I found my visit to the bubbly pool to be one of the highlights of our trip.

We were led to the pool many times by that dog! Great Pup! We do have many pictures of him--crazy how they would call him over, and he would lead us all the way to the pool! He was part of what made Jost Van Dyke so unique and one of our favorite spots!

We too have been lead into the pool by the sweet dog! He is a grand swimmer too!

The pool was bubbling when we were there several weeks ago. Exercise caution and enjoy!

Was there at the end of April. Good action.
The anchorage is relatively small and keeps the numbers down. We went over in the afternoon once most the daytrippers had left.
There are arrows painted on the trees and rocks, Hard to get lost.
