Team work charters on Anegada: horseshoe reef tour - 08/03/2017 12:00 AM

A couple of days ago, we went out for several hours with Sherwin, the owner of team work charters.

Sherwin was a fantastic host he is kind considerate and caring. A great guy.

We went out on his boat onto the horseshoe reef. Navigation through and around the coral heads is tricky. Sherwin knew the way.

Our first stop was a snorkel spot just on the inside of the reef. The water was pretty calm and the reef was excellent.

After the snorkel stop, Sherwin offered us water and beer.

Our next stop was to collect some conch. Sherwin provided a great deal of detail about the conch as he prepared conch ceviche. His marinade was really good. I was expecting something slimy. His conch ceviches was really tasty and not slimy.

Our third stop was a wreck on the southern part of the reef. The water was too rough too swim on the wreck.

The fourth and final stop was at the conch hill then back to the dock at the anegada reef hotel.

All 4 members of our group really enjoyed the time with Sherwin and his boat.

Thank you to Sherwin and to Glenn Tepe for recommending the excursion.

Indeed. You cant access the reef on your own. And certainly not in your sea tiger.

Absolutely, Not in Sea Tiger!
Local knowledge and local guide is cheap compared to DIY.

I've been to Anegada more times than I can count and thought I'd seen it all, the reef, the conch mountain was magnificent! And Sherwin couldn't have been a more fun host! Thank you Sherwin for a memorable time! I highly recommend doing this!

We paid $100 per person. 4 people. I think we were gone 4 hours.

Haven't been on Sherwin's conch tour, but did a fishing trip with him. Didn't catch a thing, but to make up for it he brought us 5 fresh lobsters that night. Great guy!! (I think he's Ann's - from Cow Wreck - brother in law?)

I understand that Anne is his sister in law.

Sherwin is Bell's son-in-law, which makes him Ann's brother-in-law.

He is Bell's son in law, and a real gentleman and an awesome friend!
