Property Rental BVI

Property Rental BVI - 08/29/2017 07:18 PM

This is my first post, was introduced by a fellow V-flyer member.

We are starting to look for a renal property Feb March 2019 and was wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions as the where to look.

Will be travelling from the UK probably via ANU

There are obviously the usual someway/tripadvisor etc but maybe there are some hidden gems.

Looking for 1-2 bedroom, ideally with pool and a view.

Some questions to help others respond: have you visited BVI before, how many adults/kids, do you want to be on Tortola or an off island? Are you prepared to hire a car or do are you prepared to more or less stay at your lodgings? Any specific interests-diving, snorkeling, fishing, tennis?

As a many time visitor from U.K. be aware that flight schedules can change. Timings may well be such that you might want/ need to consider a stop over on Antigua, especially if you are not staying on Tortola. You can also consider flying to SXM, probably with Air France and then more options to get to BVI. (We've tried various options over the years but BA or Virgin to ANU generally works best for us).
The more info you can give, the more help you are likely to get here.

Thanks for the advice Sallca

We are 2 50 somethings who love the Caribbean. We have been to Barbados Antigua and Jamaica a few times each and whilst looking for some alternatives we really like the look of BVI.
Would probably hire a car
Stopover for a day or so in ANU OK if required either or both ways.
I will not fly with AF/KLM
Would prefer to be fairly quiet without being too remote, with access to Bars restaurants and access to a pool would be nice.
