Story of Survival - 10/17/2017 03:01 PM
Thought I'd share this since I know there's a number of members here that don't go on facebook. This is quite the story.. I can't even imagine.. And sadly, with all the devastation from both storms in so many areas, there's probably many similar stories.

If I remember correctly, he had just bought his house on the Friday before Irma hit.

He has a great sense of humour and posted a funny ( belive it or not) video. Indeed he moved into his house above CGB the Friday before Irma arrive..a really good gy and I hope to see him back on the bay. I leave tonight..

So sad, yet uplifting that he sees them coming back to the islands. There have basically been no photos of Cane Garden since the early survival of the village. All the photos we see are "looking out", no photos of the devastation...the tourists will be shocked!

The destruction in CGB is unreal. It looks like a war zone after bombings!! The BVI was torn to shreds. Prayers to all of those that went through this monster and are starting to rebuild. God bless.

All links working 2017-10-19 @ 8:12 am.
Thanks. Hopefully they are working for everyone. I made the pages public so anyone with a FB account should be able to see them. If I get time this weekend, I can add them to another photo site for those without FB if there's interest.

Thanks Jason. It's just so painful looking at the destruction. Remembering what was and what is.
Very sad indeed.
My heart breaks for all of those affected.
