Clicking on the "BVI Cruise Schedule" tab at the top of the TTOL home page takes one to bviports.org. "Click on "June 2019" and you get to SCHEDULE OF CRUISE SHIP BOOKINGS FOR June 2019." There are 9 listings, each with a Location of "VIC CP." The glossary at the bottom of the page defines "CP" as "Cruise Pier." However, there is no definition for "VIC". Anybody know what "VIC" stands for?
Look at next column alone (CP)...Road Harbour Tortolla Cruise pier. They can handle 2 big boats there
No idea on VIC
Also no idea on VIC. The most disturbing thing is the number of large cruise ships anchoring off Virgin Gorda - sometimes three on the same day. Not the hugest ones of course, but not the small ones either.

If you look at earlier months, every listing has "VIC" as part of the location, so "VIC" really doesn't give any useful information. It's the second letters that give the location.

Where are they docking in VG? Never realized this was happening. Do they have a pier for the cruise lines? This is very disturbing!
Read the post. She said ANCHORING..
I’m surprised they’re not using Boatyball

Yet another reason to sail in the off-season!

So GLAD you pointed that out to me. Anchoring, mooring, docking etc. all mean the same when it comes to cruisers invading a nice quiet beautiful island.
And don't forget this: Rock Tour Dates
https://longwalktofreedomvi.com/, with events on:
June 14: Cane Garden Bay
June 15: Concert on Tortola
June 16: Norman Island
I'll be there the 9th-16th. Hoping I've found all the cruise ship schedules....
You asked, 'where are they docking'??
It reminds me of the old line, “I wouldn’t join any club that would have me”. The cruise ships don’t want to be around other cruise ships. And yet the BVI government - old, new, doesn’t matter - keeps courting them. I think that is a big reason other visitors now prefer Anegada, and avoid Tortola.

Well even if ANCHORING they'd have to tender in to some sort of dock now wouldn't they???
Thread hi-jack ended and answer provided in 3 words! Thanks.
Anyone know of the cruise ship schedule for next week (4-11 Nov)?
Thanks for that Orion. The most amazing thing: this Friday is Nov. 1, and they have yet to post the November schedule. Hard to plan your schedule.
RatmansWife, I have Sun 3, Mon 4, Tues 5, Thurs 7 as cruise ship days. Guess that mean VG on Wednesday as we will not go there on cruise days.
The November cruise schedule went up today. Looks like many, many ships will be in during our trip.
Use the arrival and departure times to dodge areas where the cruise ships will be...a little like dodging the weather
