One day itinerary- north sound help needed

One day itinerary- north sound help needed - 01/31/2023 11:19 AM

We have been staying in spanishtown 8 of us. We have driven everywhere but today have opted to give our designated driver a break. Taxiing to leverick area. Would like to get to Bitter End and saba and pick a dinner place. I know upstairs Leverick is best food but wondering about North Sound bistro? Or any other suggestions. Oil nut marina area worth the trip for a drink?

Biggest question is about the water taxi. Where to first ? Saba and ask to be dropped at Bitter End? I’ve never done all of this from land. Thank you in advance.

Oil Nut Marina is a fun stop and we enjoyed a very nice lunch but you can't really get from Oil Nut to the others without going back to Gun Creek. They have a great heated pool and a few shops but overall it wouldn't be worth it for you to take that much time out of your day.
Seems there are always mixed reviews on Saba but we have officially given up on them We have been back a few times since the reopening, most recently a few weeks ago.Food was very mediocre and drinks were terrible. Not to mention everyone there just seems plain miserable. That said, it is an amazing rebuild and they can't really mess up beer and wine. They will taxi back and forth between BEYC and Saba.
North Sound bistro was advertising that they are now doing lunch but I can't remember which days and I don't think they run a water taxi consistently yet. They may be willing to pick you up if you call them though. The folks there are wonderful.
Bitter End is the place you should plan around. Do NOT miss happy hour! Starts at 3PM with drink specials and it is a very fun atmosphere. We did lunch (dinner menu the same and didn't feel substantial enough for us) which was wonderful. You can do watersports there too if you choose.
We were all over North Sound on multiple days our last trip and if I had one day I would hit Bitter End for lunch/happy hour followed by dinner at Leverick Upstairs.

If you wanted to do a full North Sound day, we do a great Sunday Brunch here at Oil Nut Bay's Marina Village with food and drink specials and live music. You can catch our complimentary ferry from Gun Creek and have brunch and then lounge out by the pool or rent e-foils from Deep Bay Watersports. Whenever you are ready for a change, our ferry will drop you at either BEYC or Saba on your way back! Our ferry leaves from Gun Creek on the half hour (930, 1030, 1130, etc) and departs 10 past (1210, 110, 210, etc)

Very helpful to know the ferry will accommodate a drop off to BEYC or Saba. They seem to always be on a tight schedule. Not sure that information is really "out there". Makes hopping around the sound much easier knowing that!
Why does the schedule not indicated an 11:30 departure from Gun Creek? Our last visit we ended up taking the 10:30 but that felt too early for a lunch reservation arrival. 11:30 would have been perfect.

I really really agree with skipdastraw about The Bitter End. We had a wonderful afternoon there. Staff were very welcoming.

Bitter End and Saba Rock were both fantastic when we visited in November. Bitter End recruited Saturn from Cooper to be the bar manager and he is doing a great job!
