Has anyone ever rented one of these round floats?

Did you use it much and how much of a pain was it to store?

We have one for personal use on our boat and one at home here on the lake. (BOTE brand). Love it. Inflates really easily and is comfortable and won’t flip in wind like the foam lily pads. We tie it down to the tramps (very securely) when underway. Will also store inflated at the back of the cockpit (the smaller size) but needs to be secured. Take some dyneema to tie off and bring into the boat at night.

You can rent them from BVISUPCO. They're called Sunchill and are definitely worth it. They deliver them to your boat in a small backpack and they blow up easily. Last year we.blew it up on the first day and then just kept it inflated and lashed on top of the dinghy on the davits when we sailed. Definitely worth it!

Never rented the round mats.
We rent the Individual Floating Mats from Fiona at BVISUPCO
Tie it down to trampoline up front and it doubles as an extra cushion onboard.

Individual Mats
2'0" x 6'
$22 each per charter

Very easy to get on/off boat and store.

Thanks for the info.
What is "dyneema"?
Do you actually take it inside the boat - ie in the galley area - at night? Seems like we'd be bringing in a lot of dripping water with it.
BVI suggests (or requires) that it be stowed inside the bag (deflated) while underway.

We walk it to the bow and bring it up and tie it down there at night. If it is super windy we bring it into the cockpit area (not the salon/galley) and secure it in front of the dinghy. It is their property so I can see how they would want it deflated and stowed underway - they aren’t inexpensive to replace
