Hi,

Has anyone ever used one of the inflatable kayaks that are available to rent? Would like thoughts about those; just wonder if they are really sturdy enough for 2 ppl. Thinking a lot more maneuverable than the heavy hard ones. Also has anyone every used one of these lazy buns floatys do they really hold you up well?

And do the cats have anything on board to blow up things smile. Asked my moorings charter agent questions but never got a response yet. Thank you!

Charter boats typically have a foot pump for the dinghy, and if new may have some adapters for other valves.
I'm sure the inflatable kayaks can easily carry 2. I like the idea - hard kayaks are a pain to haul up on the side decks.

thanks i actually was able to talk to moorings person, they said they would have a pump at the base as well. We will get the inflatable and just hope the pressure stays up for 5 days.

We have found the BVISUPCO team to be very helpful over the years. Have you called them to see if they have a pump for you to take out on your charter? In the past, they have given us a few things in situations like this with either no charge or a small charge.

Also, we typically get the lazy buns - when you are floating behind the boat, you are pretty deep overall with the waterline somewhere around your upper chest. However, they’re still workable, and they also work well for standing in waste-deep water and using them as a floating table for your drinks. Overall, we would recommend them.
